Colorado Weather Tuesday: Turning stormy, including Denver, with higher risk of damaging storms over plains

If you did not receive rain Monday, you have additional chances ahead including today. There may be too much rainfall in isolated cases leading to some flooding but the overall risk associated with tornadoes, wind, and hail are higher over the southeastern corner of the state.

As we look at the hourly planner, our chances for rain continue through the next few days. I'm thankful for the cooler temperatures as well.

In the most general estimates as possible, here is a look at what rainfall totals may potentially be through the next three days of these chances. You know the drill, when it comes to thunderstorms you may get a lot of rain and the other side of the neighborhood may get zilch.

We will take whatever we can; other than, perhaps, the end of the month into early August, the trend overall is to sit on the drier side of things versus getting lots of rainfall.
