HailBy Matt MakensMon, Jun 12, 2023
Flooding and accumulating hail hit Boulder, Colorado Monday, especially inconvenient for those trying to grab a bite for lunch. > This guy attempted to cycle through the flooded area… all while another car got stuck. Mind you, firefighters were on scene telling people to turn around. @KDVR @channel2kwgn @PinpointWX 🤷🏼♀️ pic.twitter.com/Vq
State of the AtmosphereBy Matt MakensSun, Mar 27, 2022

Although enjoyable weather in most respects, the weekend's warmth combined with dormant vegetation turns to a dangerous fire situation in Boulder County. Per the Boulder OEM , the evacuations as of late Saturday included more than 1,500 people, down from 19,000 earlier in the day. > The NCAR Fire Evacuation Area updated at 11:08 P.M. on March 26 includes 1,629 p

Most of the snow totals shared below are th

An incredible snowfall season for many locations along the Front Range continues with yet another heavy snowfall event last night and this morning for some. No place has this been more true than for Boulder. We're working on a post that will go a bit deeper in snowfall stats across the region and state, so look for that soon. This morning the Boulder topped 145" of snow on the season, breaking the old record of 142.9" set back in the 1908-09 snowfall season. Boulder recorded 11.6" of snow throu
Denver ForecastBy Brendan HebertonMon, Feb 10, 2020
Morning models have delayed the onset of the heaviest snowfall by a few hours as compared to last night. However, we still see a good chance for snow for your evening commute, and often enough models are too slow on initialization. We are already seeing some returns on the radar this early afternoon, and we think, as we mentioned last night, you need to plan on snow for your evening commute (but hope for the best!). Not much change to our thinking from our forecast yesterday. We'll go a touch
